The Mid-Sussex Caledonian Society was founded in 1926 and is open to all those, regardless of nationality, who enjoy Scottish traditions and culture.

The highlights are the traditional Burns’ Night Dinner and the St. Andrew’s Night Celebration but there is also an active programme throughout the rest of the year including Annual Golf Day, Summer Garden Party,  Family Walk and Scottish Tea, Talks from Guest Speakers etc.  For further information see What We Do.

Membership fees are £8 for individuals or  £10 per year for families to cover the general running costs of the Society.  For further information see Contact Us.

While some of the main events such as Burns’ Night and St. Andrew’s Night include Scottish dancing, we are not primarily a dancing club. There are several clubs within the Mid Sussex area which focus exclusively on Scottish Country Dancing, and these can be found on the website of the Sussex Association of Scottish Societies.

For information on other Caledonian and Scottish Societies, we suggest the Rampant Scotland website.
